Finding Inspiration In Unexpected Places

I was watching a bit of t.v on dvr tonight with my husband (which I rarely do anymore) and walked away inspired.  Yes. Inspired from television.  Crazy, right?  What was I watching?  Ladies Night Out 2011 honoring female country musicians.  Alright, alright before you exit out of this post hear me out.  What I realized watching these ladies is how much PASSION they have for their craft.  Each of these women not only have incredible voices, but they have all reached their level of success by taking a different path.  I'm sure each of them faced adversity and times when they thought they should quit, but the important lesson to learn is they didn't.  They KEPT going.  Their passion is visible as they perform on stage.  I have been listening to an audio by Jim Rohn the last few days and it coincides very well with what I watched.  Basically Mr. Rohn says if you aren't happy with your life then you have the power to change it.  If you don't have enough money, then make an earn more money plan.  If you aren't physically fit enough then make a get fit plan and so on.  He encourages us to find people who are successful and see what they do.  See if we can apply it in our own lives.  I'm not saying I want to be a famous country musician, although that would be pretty sweet.  What I am saying however is that I want to be living my life with passion and emotion.  I want people to see in every ounce of my being that I am doing what I love.  I'm not so sure I have been doing that lately.  I want the passion expressed in this video.  How about you?  Tonight I can honestly say I was inspired.  Moved to chills and tears actually.  Can you bring someone to chills when you are living your passion?  That's a pretty amazing goal to work towards!  I'll leave you with that thought to ponder.  I'd love to hear your thoughts below.  What inspires you?  What moves you?
