Does How You Talk to Yourself Really Matter?
Lately I have been putting time in to really working on how I "talk" to myself. Let me explain. I don't mean verbally talking out loud to myself like I have multiple personalities or something. What I mean is I am really trying to take charge of that little voice in my head that says I'm not good enough. I'm not thin enough. I'm not pretty enough. You get the idea. We really can CHANGE how we see ourselves and how we FEEL about ourselves just by taking charge of our thoughts. I happened to randomly come across this image today and had to share it. I feel like these are the kinds of thoughts I NEED to have in order to push myself to that next level and stop letting my inner voice of self doubt win.
You know the saying "we are what we eat"? Well, we are what we think too! If we allow ourselves to think we won't ever lose weight or we could never look like "that" then guess what, we won't! I want to band together to start changing our thoughts and in essence our lives! Who wants to change how they think? It starts with being strong enough to stop yourself when you feel a negative thought coming on. Surround yourself with positive people in your every day life and online. Read these affirmations daily! So here is my 5 step plan to TAKE CHARGE and reach our fitness or wellness goals.
1. Read or re-write positive affirmations daily.
2. Share my struggle with an accountability partner and ask them to check in with me on a regular basis to see how I'm doing.
3. Read personal development and listen to positive audio books to put "good food" in to my brain.
4. Visualize the body I want to have, as well as the habits I want to form every day when I wake up and when I go to bed.
5. Watch the video below daily to get my mind focused on my goals and what I WILL achieve.

I couldn't agree more! If you hear something long enough, it becomes true. Speak to yourself about how you want to be as if it were already true and it will become reality! Then, you can speak that truth into others' lives as well. Great post!
